IMPRESSIONS: new years eve 2015 at the kurhaus casino in baden-baden.

[en] hi peeps! happy new year! this year we celebrated new years eve for the first time in baden-baden. we feasted at the happy new years eve party at the kurhaus casino. the admission charge for this evening included a glass of sparkling wine, fireworks, live music and 10€ worth of chips (which we gambled away completely) and of course loads of fun. we played roulette and danced all night, until there wasn't a single person left on the dancefloor. but that didn't stop us from playing air guitar accompanied by ACDC - a perfect start into the new year.

OUTFIT: what i wore in 2015.

[en] hi peeps! another year is history, a new year has begun, and what is better to start 2016 in style? 

today i want to show you my personal recap of the outfits i have posted and worn in 2015. many new apparel and accessoire pieces have found their way into my wardrobe, many things have happened, many things have changed and i believe that also my style has changed somewhat. 

it got more colourful, less girly, more self-confident, more advanced. i noticed that i now rarely wear floral prints and if i wear some, they are rather artistic and abstract, as in one of the outfits i have worn in september (the outfit post i also submitted to last years shoe step of the year). i'm still in the possession of my floral dress with the crocheted peter pan colour. in 2014 i loved to combine it with a purple cardigan and brown oxford loafers and girly accessoires. now i rather stick to my clear-cut white mango blazer, chanel earrings and high-heels. 

i also embraced oversized styles i have rather avoided in the past and wore more red, more yellow, more neon colours and basic clothings combined with big statement necklaces.

i still love the military style, but now with even more bling-bling. i also happened to buy myself a really flashy emerald green fringed dress (which seemed unthinkable some years ago) which i wore on new years eve (party pics are about to follow in one of the next posts!) and my first black sequined mini dress.

i have come a long way to a self i truly love after a long phase of mourning and questioning me and my life. it is a journey i have begun in 2012/2013 and i'm still on the way. i'm still on the way, but i'm satisfied with all i have successfully gone through. and i guess one can also see this in the change of style and more confident choice of clothing. 

so now: welcome to a new year of style, happiness and adventures.

IMPRESSIONS: thoughts at the turn of the year - 100 things to be thankful for.

[en] hi peeps! it's new years eve. and today i want to share with you some thoughts at the turn of the year. i don't believe in the new years' resolutions many people load onto themselves. you always got the chance to change if you're unhappy with something. you can do that whenever you're ready for it. and you have to find that moment for yourself. 

many people worry. they worry a lot, about so many things. you find yourself feeling overwhelmed and exhausted with everyday life. you let yourself be soaked up by the worries inside your head.

but there are so many good things in life we forget when we feel the burdens loaded onto ourselves. they might be very little, but they are the things that make a life worth living.

on the bloglovin blog i found the idea of sharing a list of 100 things to be thankful for. today i want to show you my own personal list. and i guess, that many of you will be able to identify with at least one of them.
