wedding days: coloured wedding dresses ♥

why should one have to marry in white? 
why not marry in colour? 

when we went to shop for a wedding dress for the wedding of a very good friend of mine at the 'braut & braeutigam' store in landau, we have seen loads of white dresses, but also some coloured ones. in the show room there was also a very beautiful dress displayed which had been all black, and i loved it! 

me, i wouldn't be able to decide yet whether to marry in colour or in white, but i think that i'm the rather traditional kind - but i think it's a nice and modern idea to wear colours other than white, champagne or cream coloured ... what's your opinion?

jam jar moments 2014.

i have already wrote about jam jar moments before, you might have read about it here: click! the idea is to '... start the year off with an empty jar and fill it with notes about good things that happen. on new years eve, empty it and see what awesome stuff happened that year.'

my jam jar for 2013 was so full with beautiful and colourful notes i had something to read for more than 2 hours - unbelievable how many beautiful things can happen to you during a single year, no mather how tiny they seem. life is full of beauty and hope - we all should remember that ...

i have already started my jam jar for 2014 in the first days of januaryand a fifth is already filled.

mango lookbook / spring 14.

i truly adore mango's new lookbook for spring 2014. i especially adore the white blazer with the beautiful silky pussy bow blouse and white bottoms, the white silky jumpsuit/overall and the sweater in combination with this beautiful maxi skirt. what would be your favourite picks?

my daily make up routine ♥

today i want to give you a little insight into my makeup bag. 
you know i've never been a beauty junkie and it's my least favourite pastime to roam through the depths of drugstors and such, if not speaking about the grocery shelves and new sorts of lactofree products. 
but i've never been THIS interested in cosmetics like other girls or women. 
on that score i'm very, very conservative and, if you like, quite boring in my notion. 
but that's got a good reason. 

my derma, especially my facial skin, is very sensitive and difficult to handle. it was very hard for me to find the perfect products which are compatible with it and i had loads of never ending odysees to find my perfect products which would not cause me any skin irritations, pustules, spots or dry skin. but one after one i found them and i was SO happy, you cannot imagine that. i was so happy that, for the last years i have never changed them, expect for my lipstick. if a product runs short, i'm buying the same article again. and i'm happy with that!

in the survey you can see above i  have numbered all of my products in my makeup bag. i will present them to you one by one.

OUTFIT: game of style - round 1.

so this is round 1 for the february competition of 'game of style'. the theme was 'college grunge' and i was a bit overchallenged with this style task because you know that i'm rather brash, colourful and glamorous ... and i lacked some necessary items: i didn't have a light blue jeans shorts, smooth leather ankle boots, a studded black clutch or a casual hat in grey - but i tried my best ... unfortunately i forgot to wear a hat and ... well i didn't make it, might be because i lacked the hat, but: the heck with it - taking part is everything, huh ?!

OUTFIT: promises like pie-crust.

i'm looking for the face i had, before the world was made.

today i want to show you some new and beautiful things for my home and my wardrobe. i participated in a giveaway by my dear blog friend nadine from the wonderful DIY blog 'verliebt in zuhause' (click) and i won! some days ago i received two beautiful shabby chic interior articles with which i will decorate my new flat: a cute grey welcome sign and a beautiful wooden heart. ♥

i also received a pair of wonderful (and unbelievably comfortable) red and white sneakers from finn comfort (click) by schuhhaus kocher (click) - thanks, the shoes are beautiful and i love them! ♥

dears, i think i might could wear this outfit for our next club visit. i think that the pop of colour and statement jewellery fit perfectly to a glamorous evening full of dancing and fun - what do you think? that's also why i've chosen the post title - it's a line out of one of my favourite songs by macklemore & ryan lewis: 'and we danced'. a fun and motivating song and i LOVE it ... but my favourites will remain 'can't hold us', 'jimmy iovine' 'same love' and 'thrift shop'. XD i also LOVE blue & gold put together. the bag was a present from my aunt which i got when i was 15 (감사합니다, 이모 ~~~) and the necklace was a gift from my mum and authentic vintage, bought in a boutique decaaades ago.

OUTFIT: i will tattoo your heart.

today i want to show you an outfit with my favourite and quite new red coat from mango which i bought last month, it's from mango and i LOVE IT! i'm very much in love with red, you might also have noticed that before - in questions of apparel it really is my favourite colour. this time i decided on combining it with my favourite black leather dress from zara which i bought secondhand on kleiderkreisel.de, my favourite place to go for nice second hand bargains. you should really stop by! it's a german website, but there are also many english speaking sellers, myself included :) i decorated my beautiful red coat with a vintage brooch which my mum gave to me last year, it is from the eightees and an authentic boutique designer piece. i also wear a vintage necklace which was a gift from my mum, my favourite chanel earrings, my favourite rolex watch and very comfortable imitation leather boots from graceland. the crêpes with vanilla icecream and whipped cream were my breakfast some days ago when i met a good friend of mine.
