wedding days: wedding dress wishlist ♥

the wedding of my mum, the wedding of a very good friend of mine ... and no wedding for me XD well not exactly - i'm a guest at different weddings this year, but not at my own one. this one is still long way away ... one day it was quite close, but that's another story. but still i love to browse for beautiful dresses, especially those which orbit weddings, immaterial if it's a bridesmaid dress (here i have shown you some beautiful ones) or the perfect wedding dress (some can also be found here and here) - i already got several favourite wedding dress labels, and today i want to show you another selection of beautiful and modern wedding dresses for the future bride - each dress is different, each dress tells a different story, but in my opinion all of them are beautiful and have very fashionable styles.

i especially love all of the mermaid styles, especially combined with long trains, because they make such feminine and sexy curves, showing much and nothing at the same time. the first dress you can see in this post shows exactly what i mean - and i have very much fallen in love with it. i think that a style like this would be my perfect dress for a perfect wedding ... but i also love the empire,bow and the knee-length styles which i also show you in this post - i think that especially the short styles would also be a very nice idea for young and modern brides who want to get married in the register office, before marrying in a church - i would love to wear a short, ruffled or flared and white dress at my own one. but i also could imagine them at a beach wedding.

all of these dresses would be styles i would love for my own wedding and i believe that this selection is a great inspiration for all the lovely ladies among my dear readership who plan to get married soon!

weddings days: bridesmaid dress wishlist ♥

since a good friend of mine will marry soon, i'm still in need of a nice bridesmaid dress - or, better said, i've got enough dresses in my wardrobe but i'm so in love with fashion and clothes i simply have to look for new and beautiful stuff.

fashion is always afoot, full of motion, innovative, creative and never standing still. and that's what i do love so much. 
you're always in search of something new - the perfect find, the perfect fit, the perfect piece which is able to brighten up your eyes and days. 
it's an endless journey, a saga.
it is life.

... but enough of disgressing. on my way of browsing through the endless depths of a long list of onlineshops i have found some very beautiful pieces which you can see below.

hi dears! finally i want to show you some impressions of the wedding of my mum, which took place 2 weeks ago. 
it was wonderful. 

the pankratius chapel was a nice quite modern church with a charming wooden interior and an amazingly huge and spacious organ - i played the entry to the wedding ceremony, the wedding march by mendelssohn and later two pieces which my mum and her husband had chosen earlier. 
there were two other musicians, a pianist and a singer from our church in mannheim. our korean pastor lead through the ceremony which was mostly held in german, but also korean. 
many german and korean friends of my mum and her husband attended the wedding. 

my mum wore a beautiful floor-length white dress with lace and pearls and a fascinator with a short viel and a beautiful flower which i had bought for her earlier. 
she looked awesome. ♥ 

my brother wore a black suit and a cream coloured vest and looked absolutely handsome. 

i wore my cream coloured ruffled dress from chicwish and chanel earrings. the dress was so comfortable and it is really recommendable for anyone who wants to look chic yet don't want to miss a certain wearing comfort. 

afterwards the wedding guests proceeded to a nice croatian restaurant where the wedding party took place. my mum changed into a traditional korean dress called hanbok which she designed herself (she had been a fashion designer while still in korea) and a red coat, but left her fascinator on. we ate delicious food in three courses and had loads of fun and great conversations. 

and guess what - i caught the bridal bouquet so i guess it's my turn next time, haha XD

wedding days: wedding dress shopping in landau ♥

i'm truly in a huge wedding fever! my mum had her registry office wedding not long ago and her church wedding will take place in january 2014. 

now a very good friend of mine is going to get married next year, too, and the other day she invited me to attend her own wedding dress fitting in landau. 
two days ago the time had come and three girls joined up to visit the wonderful wedding gown boutique 'braut und braeutigam'. 

it was my first visit there and oh my gosh i was really delighted with this beautiful and nicely done up interior with modern chandeliers in white and black (which somewhat reminded me of one of my favourite locations, the onyx in mannheim), tastefully selected and very comfortable sitting accomodations and large mirrors with beautiful golden embellishments. 

the fashion adviser knew her craft and was very attentive and formed a pleasant atmosphere where we felt very well. she took time for my friend to find her perfect wedding gown, after all for four hours and i think that this is a great service. 

eventually she found the dress which perfectly matched her. the wedding will take place next year in summer and i'm so looking forward to it. all the best for the beautiful couple! oh gosh, i want to get married, too XD

the register office wedding of my mummy ♥

the wedding of my mum and her husband was great! i already have shown you the pictures of the dress and coat i wore for this occasion earlier and the feedback was great, thanks again! the mansion where the wedding took place was so very beautiful, decorated with crystal chandeliers, wonderful old wooden furniture, high walls and beautiful ceiling frescos.

the whole circle looked great, each of them. my mum wore a cream coloured dress with ruffles from four flavour, bought at peek & cloppenburg, a beautiful black fur coat and a brown hat. her husband wore a grey suit and his order of merit of the federal republic of germany.

afterwards we had a festive banquet. the couple served fresh oysters which he had bought the day before on meissen porcelain and champagne. then we had roastbeef, green beans and potatoes with rosemary for the second course. the dessert included pears with port wine and gingerbreadmen, rum truffles and christmas cookies which i had baked earlier.

when the banquet was finished we went to the christmas market, visited the chapel where the church wedding will take place, a little museum and a deli. afterwards we ate homemade christmas stollen and drank a nice cup of coffee.

OUTFIT: still waters run deep, my dear, there's never smoke without fire.

today i want to show you the coat i wore yesterday for the wedding of my mum! the coat and the dress are both from mango and i LOVE both pieces so much! the wedding was great and the mansion where it took place was very beautiful with chandeliers, wonderful old wooden furniture, high walls and beautiful ceiling frescos. my mum and lothar and the whole circle looked great, each of them. my mum wore a wonderful cream coloured dress with ruffles and a beautiful black fur coat. lothar wore a suit and his order of merit of the federal republic of germany. ute wore a wonderful black costume and a hat fitting her outfit. her husband and lothars son also wore suits. afterwards there was a festive banquet with oysters, champagne, french wine, roastbeef and pears with port wine. i will also show you the impressions from the register office wedding soon, maybe already tomorrow.

OUTFIT: the spice in your smile is magic to me ♥

good morning my dears! tomorrow my mum will get married in the registry office of giessen and i will her, and of course i will visit her wedding, even if it's only a bureaucratic thing, because she will also get married in white in a protestant church in gießen. registry office weddings mostly are quite a bald matter, except when you don't get churched afterwards, or paraphrase, don't celebrate your wedding religiously affiliated. but in the case of my mum it's not the only wedding ceremony so it won't be a big deal. anyways i want to look perfect for her (first) great wedding day and for this purpose i will wear my recently bought mango dress for the very first time. i will wear it with the white coat which i also bought at mango. i already wore the latter on monday when me and a friend had a girls night with cocktails and stuff. both pieces are so very comfy, yet classy and i love them, especially in combination! i will also wear my LV bag, statement earrings, my rolex watch and heels, of course. but i don't know yet if it will be the pair which you can see on the photographs. by the way all pictures were again taken by me (and a self-timer and tripod, of course XD).

afterwards there will be an oyster and champagne dégustation at lothars place and a main course. i will cater for the dessert and bring buttered cookies, rum truffles, marzipan potatoes and in addition my newly baked gingerbread men which i want to finish today - i already prepared the dough yesterday and it had to be steeped overnight.

wedding dress shopping!

since my mum will marry soon we went into the city to look for for a nice wedding dress. we went to the boutique called 'true love' where i bought my prom dress in 2007 and to another very nice wedding boutique called 'die braut', but in both stores we haven't found the perfect dress for my mum. afterwards we went into our favourite café for coffee and cake. my mum has a clear clear conception of her dream dress. she once had her own fashion boutique in korea and also designed the clothes on offer. since she still can draw fashion sketches, she simply showed me her draft and i then searched for her dream dress online. and finally we found it. in another post i will present you some online stores where you can also find nice wedding dresses.

SHOOTING: the vintage bride.

here are some of the beautiful out of cam photos from my latest shooting with itechkast which was a lot of fun. 

this dress was a real vintage discovery i made last year when i browsed through the depths of ebay, where you can find wonderful and unique apparel. 

the dress is an authentic bride dress out of the roaring 20s. a dream made of 3 layers of silk, tulle and crêpe de chine ... you don't want to know how much it costed, back then ... ;) 

why i bought it? ... because i thought that this would be the perfect dress for my future wedding - but at the moment i don't have anybody who would marry me XD 

after all it's perfect for shootings and i truly love it. but it was a bit too tight. they descripted it with size S, but it was much smaller. 

anyways, i hope you like the photos.

this was the outfit i wore for the wedding of my fiancées best friend. 

i really love the rosette dress from H&M's garden collection (must have been from 2010 or so) and this was the first time i wore a headpiece in public.
